Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Jeff Peterson holds up Colton Harton so the youngster can tie a ribbon on the antenna of Peterson's patrol car during Thursday's kick-off of Project Red Ribbon's "Tie One On For Safety" campaign at the state Capitol. The annual event - sponsored by Salt Lake County's chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) - encourages Utahns to tie a red ribbon on the antennas of their cars as a show of support and as a pledge to drive safe and sober during the holiday season. MADD also donated 16 pocket breath testers to local police agencies Thursday to help enforce Utah's drunk driving laws.
