Delta Air Lines said it will begin twice-daily nonstop round-trip service from Salt Lake City to Vancouver, British Columbia, on Dec. 1.
A spokesman said the new nonstop flights are the result of the Open Skies agreement signed by Canada and the United States earlier this year, and the subsequent route authority grants to Delta from the U.S. Department of Transportation.Delta was granted authority to serve Salt Lake City nonstop from Vancouver on Sept. 20, 1995.
Delta's Salt Lake City-Vancouver flights are the first-ever, year-round nonstop flights between the two cities.
