Thelma Laura Barlow Morton, 89, has joined her husband, Alton W. Morton, for all eternity. She passed away November 15, 1995 in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born September 5, 1906 in Bountiful, a daughter of Willard E. and Jessie Wright Barlow.She married Alton Watkins Morton on October 1, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary October 1, 1975. He died March 3, 1985.
She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses, Dorothy Jean and Dale Yost, West Valley City; Donna and Bill Turner, Kearns; Luana and Andrew Besendorfer, Midway; Darlene Marie and Warren Phillips, Bountiful. She was proud of her 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brothers, Elmer and Wilford Barlow, Bountiful. She was preceded in death by her sister, Florence; brother, Ralph, and twin infant brothers.
She was an artist and prize-winning photographer in her own right, as well as a co-worker in the making of her husband's well-known adventure films. She made award-winning afghans, crocheted tablecloths and beadwork. Her skills were honored by many State Fair ribbons.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 1995 at 11:30 a.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 No. Main. Friends may call from 10-11:15 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
