Sarah Knotts Reed Barlow, age 88, died November 17, l995 in San Jose, California.
Born April 5, l907 in Mammoth, Utah to William and Annie Potts Reed. Married J. Lester Barlow in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 17, 1937. She was a former resident of Salt Lake City, having lived there for 81 years. She resided the last seven years in California. Secretary for Pacific Railway Advertising for 15 years. Public school cafeteria worker for 10 years. Active member of the LDS Church, chorister in first Primary of the Primary Childrens Medical Center, counselor in YWMIA and Relief Society, sang in ward choirs for over 50 years.Survivors, husband, J. Lester Barlow, San Jose, Calif.; sons, Reed N. Barlow, San Jose, Calif.; Bruce L. Barlow, Las Vegas; and Steven D. Barlow, Pleasanton, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Monday, November 20, 11 a.m. at the Ensign 3rd and 4th Ward, 9th Ave and K Street, Salt Lake City. Friends and family may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday 6-8 p.m and also Monday one hour prior to services. Interment Salt Lake Cemetery.
