- DESERET BOOK is planning a Christmas-book blitz this week. On Friday, Nov. 24, at the ZCMI Center store, Kurt Bestor and Michael Dowdle will sign copies of their Christmas albums from noon until 2 p.m. Jack Weyland will also sign copies of his novels at that time.
Hoyt Brewster will sign "Isaiah Plain and Simple" from 2-4 p.m. Gerald N. Lund will sign "Praise to the Man" from 4-5:30 p.m. Lynn S. Lund will also be on hand. Robert K. deBry will be at the Fort Union store from 2-3:30 p.m.
Weyland will be at the University Mall store on Saturday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Art Berg will be there from 1-3 p.m., then at the East Bay store from 3-5 p.m. Felicia Sorensen will sign "She Believes" at the Fort Union store from 3-5 p.m. Dowdle will be at South Towne from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Bestor will be back at the ZCMI store from noon to 2 p.m.
