The 14th annual Dickens' Christmas Festival, featuring mini productions of "Oliver!" and "Scrooge" along with 120 shopkeepers, hand-crafted gifts, festive foods, Father Christmas and complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides, is scheduled Mondays-Saturdays from Nov. 24 through Dec. 9 at the Utah State Fairpark.

Set in a replication of Dickensian England, the festival will include entertainment by dozens of local school and church choirs for the nightly "Carols by Candlelight" along with the tastes and aromas of such traditional fare as steaming wassail, roasted chestnuts, Mr. Bumble's hot cinnamon buns, caramel apples and more.Festival hours are from 4 to 10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, excluding Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens or children and $15 for a family pass. Discount coupons are available at Smith's and all R.C. Willey stores. Visitors will have the opportunity to register to win round-trip airfare for two to London.
