"The Month Before Christmas," an evening of storytelling, will be presented by the Provo Public Library, Monday, Nov. 27, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. for all ages and from 7:30 to 8 p.m. for older children and adults.

The first show will feature Kathy Betz and Donnae Tidwell. The Second presentation will be by Bob Smith and Tidwell.Tidwell is a member of the Utah Storytelling Guild. She is a professional storyteller based in Provo, a calligraphy and storytelling instructor for Provo Community Schools. She has performed at the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, Ghouls at the Gallivan, and for the Babcock Performing Readers.

Betz began storytelling in high school competitions. She is a writer, is fluent in German and has traveled extensively. Smith is currently the vice president of the Timpanogos Chapter of the Utah Storytelling Guild. He has won many awards for his tall tales in Toastmaster competitions throughout the West.
