My beloved wife, our dearest mother and grandmother, Traudy Naujoks, age 70, passed away peacefully after her battle with cancer November 19, 1995 at her home.

Born October 7, 1925 in Chemnitz, Germany. Traudy worked as an executive secretary at the "Wanderer-Werke," in Chemnitz. After World War II, living in the Eastern part of Germany, she was called to be the Mission President for the Primary (East German Mission) LDS Church. She married in 1947 Arthur O. Naujoks, from Tilsit, East-Prussia. This marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. In Spring of 1950, Traudy left her beloved family in Chemnitz, to follow her husband's new direction, going "West". After staying in West Berlin for three years, a stormy voyage brought her to the shores of the United States. Living in California and Utah, her courageous and valiant lifestyle gave her a chance to be successful in her achievements. After she was called to be a buyer for "The Dressmaker", Salt Lake City, a Fashion Fabric Store, she became the manager and owner of this Store.

Her smile, understanding and knowledge was known down to Texas and to the shores of the Pacific.

Traudy, wherever she resided and as a faithful member of the LDS Church, she devoted her knowledge and love for music as a chorister and as a choir-conductor. Also she surrounded her home and family with beauty and harmony.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Gleave.
