Ronald Johnston, program director for the Department of the Interior's Central Utah Project Completion Act Office in Provo, was recently presented the Meritorious Service Award.
The award is the highest achievement given to federal employees and was recently presented by Patricia Beneke, acting assistant secretary of Water and Science for the U.S. Department of the Interior.Johnston received the award for outstanding service in government, particularly with regard to his work on the Central Utah Project Completion Act.
Johnston, a native of Spanish Fork, and his wife, Carma, and their children reside in Pleasant Grove.
