Three Weber State University students have received national accolades in the "Awards of Excellence" program sponsored by Phi Beta Lambda for future business leaders.

N. Casey Bowen, Bountiful, won first place in the telecommunications category. He is the third consecutive WSU student to win first place in the event.Darin Myers, Ogden, placed second in the category, which includes testing on telecommunications management, transmis-sions, societal impacts and history.

Lynette Stewart, Brigham City, placed ninth in information management in the contest. She was tested on telecommunications technology, records management, information process-ing and human relations.
