Seventy Utah charities, nonprofit organizations and students were awarded a total of $195,734 in grants from the Masonic Foundation of Utah. That total included 20 one-year scholarships to four-year schools.

The foundation was established by the Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons in 1929. Since 1971, more than $2 million has been awarded.
