Verland J. Turner, age 81, passed away November 18, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Verland was born May 21, 1914 in Murray, Utah to Henry Heber Turner and Nellie Louise Smith. Married Irma Strong; later divorced. Married Margaret W. Lloyd February 6, 1971 in Salt Lake City.He enjoyed fishing and hunting and gardening. Member of the LDS Church.
Survived by wife, Margaret W. Turner; brother, Clayton; sister, Val Verda Louis and sister-in-law, Lois McCormick Turner; children and many grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 1995, at 12 noon, in the Emigration 1st Ward, 760 East 700 South, SLC, with a viewing one hour prior to services.
