The third session of the 48th annual Deseret News Ski School is scheduled as planned for this Saturday at Alta.

Although the weather continues unseasonably warm and Alta's official opening is pending, there is ample snow for the ski school.Students should review their information brochure and plan to be at the Albion parking lot by 9:30 a.m. Skiers should wear their tags around their necks and replacement tags will be issued as necessary. By the third session, students are considered advanced beginners and those in alpine instruction will learn about wedge turns.

Ski school students who selected the bus option are reminded that departure from either Skyline High School or the Cottonwood Mall is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Buses will return students to the same location by 1:30 p.m. The cost for round-trip transportation is $5.75 and exact change is helpful.
