William Kline Carroll, 54, died November 28, 1995 in Omaha, Neb. following a liver transplant.

He was born September 20, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Kline B and Anna Mary Ericksen Carroll. Graduated from Jordan High School. Married Annette Shepard August 16, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from Chapman College in California. Served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1988 and retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer.Active member of the LDS Church, serving in several bishoprics. His favorite calling was Scout Master where he served for 10 years and went to 11 consecutive scout camps. Employed by the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City. He loved cars and sports. Service and charity were the guiding principles of his life. He was kind and unselfish to all.

Survived by his wife, three children: Suzanne (Doug) Cooper, Marianne (Mike) Overson, Curtis W. (JoDee) Carroll; three grandchildren; brother, Phil (Sharon) Carroll; sister, Sandy (Lynn) Webb; mother, Mary Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2, 1995 at 12 noon in the Cottonwood 10th Ward, 4930 South Westmoor Road (1730 East). Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, and at the ward on Saturday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
