Murray police are hoping the public can help identify a woman who was hit by a car Wednesday evening while crossing Main Street.
The victim is described as a white female, about 35 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 165 pounds. She was wearing a black parka with purple trim, black shoes and an inexpensive gold watch with a black band.She was walking across Main Street at 5987 South about 6:40 p.m. and listening to a Sony Walkman at the time at the accident.
The woman was taken to the University Medical Center in critical condition.
