Betty Askee Porches, age 69, passed away December 15, 1995 of natural causes.
Born November 3, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James William and Malinda Freeman Askee.Retired from the U of U September 2, 1994. She will be remembered for her spunky personality and wonderful sense of humor. She loved Glen Miller, peanuts, popcorn, crossword puzzles, and a cold beer.
She is loved and will be missed by her children, Rick, Randy, Debbie and Steve; grandchildren, Tracee, Kristee, Jennifer, Stacy, Steven, Ryan, and Brooke; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Shaylee and C.J. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, twin-great-grandsons, and many friends.
Funeral services Wednesday, December 20, 1995 at 11 a.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Riverton City Cemetery.
