Charging documents claim the suspect waived his Miranda rights and admitted to breaking into the condominium near 1500 East and 5200 South on Dec. 11 after seeing a woman leave the residence. The man entered an unlocked back door and took the jewelry, according to the charges. While the suspect was still inside the home, the woman returned, and the man ran out the back door.
