After playing a supporting role for several games, Michael Jordan was back in his accustomed spot as the focal point of the streaking Chicago Bulls.

Jordan, who has let Scottie Pippen carry the load lately, scored 32 points as the Bulls beat injury-ravaged Dallas 114-101 Tuesday night to extend their winning streak to 11 games.Pippen, who averaged 31.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and eight assists in his previous four games, played only 29 minutes and left for good after the Bulls took an 81-72 lead with 1:25 left in the third quarter.

Tony Dumas scored 24 points for the Mavericks, who have lost 14 of 16 since a 5-1 start. Dallas played without injured stars Jamal Mashburn and Jason Kidd.

At Houston, Hakeem Olajuwon had 31 points and 17 rebounds as the Rockets overcame the loss of Clyde Drexler.
