Jim Carrey's latest movie seems to be a hit with people. People magazine, on the other hand, couldn't stand it.

"Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls," which in six weeks has earned more than $100 million at the box office, was on the magazine's list of the worst movies of the year.Carrey "remains two Stooges shy of a load - slow, clumsy and obvious - in a lousy sequel," the magazine said in its year-end issue.

Others on the list included "Showgirls" ("an experiment in sleaze that failed miserably"), "Jade" ("more stinky than kinky"), and "Fair Game" ("a ridiculous thriller punctuated by large explosions").
