Twenty-two people want to be considered for a City Council seat vacated recently by Brent Hofhines. The group includes three candidates who ran unsuccessfully in November.
Roy Harward, Bradley Marlor and Kevin Romph, who all made it through the primary but were bumped a month later, want to be considered for the position.The South Jordan City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday to appoint Hofhines' replacement.

City administrator Dave Millheim said he was pleasantly surprised by the number of applicants. "When people just have to apply, show their interest, they're much more willing to go through it."
