CIGNA Corp., parent company of CIGNA Healthcare of Utah, which has 43,720 members, has been named one of the 100 best companies for working mothers by Working Mother Magazine, the fourth time the company has made the list.

CIGNA Healthcare of Utah offers childbirth leave with some at full pay, adoption aid of $2,500, work at home, job sharing and flextime, all activities that helped the parent company garner the honor."We also have employee educational reimbursements and a scholarship program for employees' children," said Bob Immitt, CIGNA Healthcare of Utah general manager. "We believe that if we take care of our employees, they will take care of us."

CIGNA, which is based in Philadelphia, has started a new program for the advancement of women. It provides 25 percent of compensation for legal and public affairs department managers, based on how equitable they deal with women and minority employees.
