Douglas William Crow passed away December 13, 1995 at the age of 44.

He was born February 8, 1951 in Salt Lake City to Thomas William and Ivy Deane Braithwaite Crow. Douglas was a dear son and brother and will be deeply missed by his family. He served an LDS Mission to South Africa and received The Duty to God and Eagle Scout awards. Doug brought much joy to others in his life through his great talent as a pianist. He graduated from the University of Utah in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Westinghouse for several years as an engineer and then went with the Bureau of Reclamation in Denver as an engineer for 12 years where he received numerous awards for outstanding service in the field of engineering. He loved the out-of-doors. He did a lot of mountain climbing, hiking and cross country skiing.Survived by his parents; two sisters, Katherine (Preston) Nydegger, Karen (Edward) Bodily, brother, Richard Thomas (Gaylene) Crow; 14 nieces and nephews; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Braithwaite. Preceded in death by his other grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Crow.

Friends may visit with the family at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland on Thursday, December 21, 1995 from 6-8 p.m. At the request of Douglas, graveside services will be held for family only. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to ICH Hospice, 2250 South 1300 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84119.
