Lois Walker Hiatt, 72, of Pleasant Grove died peacefully at her home on December 18, 1995.

She was born April 28, 1923 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Warren Samuel and Barbara Chadwick Walker. She married Clyde H. Hiatt, on June 20, 1941 in Provo; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was member of the LDS Church, having served in positions in the Relief Society, Primary, Sunday School and Young Womens. She and her husband were lifetime members of the Cougar Club and enjoyed traveling together, following the football and basketball teams. Lois is known for her kindness to others and her special love for her family and grandchildren. She was gentle, honest and always thought of others before herself. She had a cute sense of humor and was a joy to be around. Christmas was her happiest time of year and her greatest hobby. Lois had a great love for Christmas time and will be spending Christmas this year with her loved ones who have preceded her in death.She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Arron (LaDawna) Jepson, Sandy; Mrs. Jeffery (Lorene) Hreinson, Lehi; 10 grandchildren; a brother and two sisters: Rod Walker, Bountiful; Dorothy Monson, American Fork; Bernice Wisdom, Palmdale, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Steven Clyde Hiatt, and a brother, Sterling K. Walker.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Friday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
