Stanley E. McFadden, after a long and valiant battle with cancer, died peacefully at home on December 19, 1995.

Stan was born August 19, 1934 in Provo, Utah. He graduated from Provo High School and later from Boston University. He served his country in the Army Corps of Engineers in both Korea and Japan, and was proud to call Utah "home". He loved to golf and was a proud member of Cottonwood Country Club. He loved to grow vegetables, especially hot peppers. Stan traveled the world and had a keen interest in different cultures and was proud of the fact that he had worked or visited every one of the 50 states in this great country.He was thankful for the compassionate care he received from Dr. Gregg Litton, Dr. Kent DiFiore and staff, Dr. Villija Avizonis and staff, the loving staff at the Cottonwood Hospital Oncology Dept. and Lisa Johnson, for her individual care.

Stan is survived by his loving wife, Miriam; his sister, Joan Nikas and her husband, Tony, of Springville; his brother, William McFadden and his wife, Naomi, of Pleasant Grove.

Funeral service held Thursday, 10 a.m. December 21, 1995, Cottonwood Presbyterian Church, 1580 East Vine Street (approx. 6090 So.) Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
