A man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at another man in West Valley City in August.

The 20-year-old man was charged with attempted criminal homicide, a first-degree felony.The man shot at another man in front of a house in the 3600 South block of 6800 West Aug. 13.

The victim told police he heard someone say "There he is," then heard something whiz by his head, according to 3rd Circuit Court documents. He ducked but heard bullets hit the house several times before the man got back in the car and drove away.
