Two armed robbers handcuffed the employees of a Zions Bank branch in Layton Tuesday morning then fled with an undetermined amount of money, Layton police reported. No one was injured in the 9:45 a.m. robbery at the bank branch at 1781 W. Antelope Drive.
Law enforcement agencies in Davis County set up a surveillance system, stationing cars on freeway overpasses and other strategic areas, but did not find the two suspects.Police said they are looking for two black males, one in his early 20s, 6 feet 2 inches, with a thin build and wearing a tan hooded shirt with dark shiny jogging pants. He was wearing sunglasses and a black ski mask.
The second suspect is also in his early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches, wearing dark shiny jogging pants. He was wearing a blue ski mask and carried a blue and purple backpack, according to police.
