Edward L. Miller, age 74, departed this earth on January 20, 1995 after leading a full and happy life. He died of complications resulting from an automobile accident in Bountiful, Utah, in which his wife, Shirley was also injured.

Mr. Miller was born November 13, 1920 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He flew airplanes for 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel. Most recently, he was a business partner in Miller & Miller, an executive search firm in Kirkland, Washington. Ed was an avid tennis player, skier and sailor, and was a devoted companion to his wife. He will be remembered as a beloved friends who touched many with his smile, wit, intelligence, charm and enthusiasm. Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Murphy Miller.He is survived by his second wife, Shirley Miller, Kirkland, Wash.; twin sons, Ed Miller, Pleasanton, Calif.; and Bill Miller, Okinawa, Japan; a son, Chris Miller, Minneapolis, Minn.; a daughter, Georgia Miller Lund, Minneapolis, Minn.; a step son, Doug Slocum, Tucson, Ariz.; a step daughter, Sheri Sanders, Redmond, Wash.; their spouses and 12 grandchildren.

A fond remembrance gathering will be held Friday, February 3rd, at 1:30 p.m. at Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836-36th Street, Ogden.

Cremation under the direction of Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to your local library or favorite charity.
