May Schaffer Cambron Leiser, 78, passed away February 9, 1995 in the arms of her family, after a long time of pain and suffering.

Mother, friend, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmama. Many things to many people but most of all, gifted with a wonderful sense of humor and a warm, loving, generous spirit.She was born March 28, 1916 to Fred P. and Margaret Spicer Schaffer. She married Orvall S. Cambron in Fort Smith, Arkansas on November 16, 1936. He died August 1957. Married William (Bill) W. Leiser September 26, 1965, Elko, Nevada. Bill passed away June 1971.

May is survived by her daughter, Margrett Cambron Hall; and son, Paul Scott Cambron; also by her grandchildren whom she helped to raise, R. Scott Hall, Chris Hall, Cheryl Zucca, Salt Lake City; and Cory Hall, Brisbane, Australia. She leaves behind 15 great-granchildren-they were the sparks that kept her young at heart for so many years. Her brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Fern Schaffer, and sister and husband, Kathryn and Dixon Miyauchi, will also miss her.

She retired from the U.S. Post Office in 1972.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff at Willow Wood Care Center who have become her family over the last two years. Thank you so much in all sincerity.

In lieu of flowers, have Masses celebrated for the repose of her soul, or make a donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. According to her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 Spring Lane, at 4 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 1995.
