A Salt Lake teenager was stabbed in the abdomen Saturday morning. About 3:30 a.m., the 17-year-old and his brother, 24, were on top of a parking terrace near 1600 W. Snow Queen Place (1675 South) when an acquaintance appeared and stabbed the him, causing a three-inch-deep wound, a Salt Lake police report said. A man accompanying the knife-wielder began striking the teen on the face.

When the teen and his brother ran away, the man holding the knife allegedly slashed the teen's car tires.The victim was treated for his injuries and released.
