Upsilon Beta Omega, a chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, will be hosting founder's day rites on Feb. 25 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Alumni House on the University of Utah campus. The speakers scheduled for the occasion are the Rev. Clifton Wilkes and the Rev. Janet Swift.

The chapter is the only affiliate of Alpha Kappa Alpha in Utah. It is the oldest African-American sorority in the United States and has a primary focus on promoting the African-American family.
