Von A. (Grandpa) Anderson, 70, of Glenwood, Utah, died February 15, 1995 at his home.

Von was born September 25, 1924 in Glenwood, Utah to Abram Karl and Viola Peterson Anderson. He married Wyoma Christen Bagley January 3, 1946 in Glenwood, Utah. Von was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Dale and USS John Hood.He was employed by UDOT, US Gypsum in Sigurd and retired from L.A. Young Construction after 33 years. He loved the outdoors and being with his family.

He is survived by wife, Wyoma Anderson of Glenwood; one son and one daughter, William Von "Bill" and Marilyn Anderson, Annabella; Charlotte Marie and Tom Knaphus, Glenwood; sisters, Agnes Dickinson, Richfield; Gayle and Roger Nielsen, Salina; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Leila Spafford.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 1995 at 1 p.m. in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Glenwood on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery with Military Rites by the VFW Sevier Post #5050.
