Sophomore pitcher Ali Andrus hurled a perfect game in an 8-0 win over Purdue. Andrus, who is suffering from a pinched ulnar nerve which causes numbness in her pitching hand, fanned four batters and only two balls were hit out of the infield.

In the second game, Monica Jimenez hurled a three-hitter as Utah fought off Illinois State, 6-1.Utah (2-5) play Nevada-Las Vegas Sunday at 11 a.m. to close out the Coca-Cola Classic in Phoenix.
