Donna Perkins Stephens, 55, died February 21, 1995 at her home, of terminal lung cancer.

She was born September 9, 1939 in Wellsville, a daughter of Vernon M. and Beatrice Stuart Perkins. She married Larry Zack Stephens, January 30, 1958 in Ogden. They were married 22 years and later divorced. She was raised and educated in Ogden, graduating from Weber High School. She had lived in Winnemucca, Nevada, during her early adulthood, before returning to Ogden. She was a member of the South Ogden 65th LDS Ward. Ms. Stephens was employed at Unysis Corporation for 17 years. She was an avid traveler and loved shopping and music of all kinds. She was especially devoted to her family as a daughter, mother and grandmother.Surviving are her daughter, Lori Lynn Fowers, Roy; two sons, Todd Stephens, Ogden; Joby Stephens, Roy; and four granddaughters. Also surviving are her parents, Vernon and Beatrice Perkins, Ogden; one brother and one sister, Gerald Perkins, Layton; Connie Curtis, Lacey, Wash. She was preceded in death by her son, T.J. Stephens and her brother, Dennis Perkins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. with Bishop Don Nelson of the South Ogden 65th Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park.
