George Arthur Green, age 83, passed away February 22, 1995 in Salt Lake City.
Born January 2, 1912 in Lofgren, Utah, son of George Arthur and Martha Evaline Ekker Green. Married Alice Lehnherr, July 5, 1932; marriage later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of LDS Church where he served with his wife in the Baton Rouge Louisiana Mission and a guide on Temple Square. He was a life long salesman, an avid outdoors man and loved to hunt and fish. He dearly loved his family.Survived by two daughters, Betty and husband, Louis L. Timm; LaRae and husband, Ronald S. Taylor, all of West Valley City; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin L. Green, sister, Ruby M. Asay, both of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Sunday, 5-7 p.m. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
