The lawsuit that prompted the Salt Lake City Public Library Board to revise its art exhibits policy has been withdrawn.

Luke and Cynthia Ong and Rick Warner, who filed the suit in 3rd District Court in December, said through their attorneys Wednesday they are willing to give the board's new policy a chance. The trio sued after they and others were offended by an exhibit at the Anderson-Foothill Branch Library in which four of artist Sam Collett's paintings featured nude women.

On Feb. 16, the board changed its guidelines for seeking, selecting, reviewing and presenting art exhibits in its six libraries.
