Our dear sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Ada Lucille Holdaway Orem, 91, returned to her Father-in-Heaven peacefully at her daughter's home February 26, 1995.

Born February 14, 1904 in Provo, Utah, daughter of Elmer Thomas and Mary Ellen Ekins Holdaway. She grew up in Vineyard, Utah. Graduated from Lincoln High School in Orem. She met her eternal mate, Ellis Marshall Orme, while they both served in the LDS San Diego California Mission, 1922-1924. Later married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple December 9, 1926. Lived most of their lives in Tooele. Active member of the LDS Church serving faithfully in many leadership and teaching positions. Dedicated volunteer for the State PTA, dearly loving the work and the people. Her life was her family, church, service and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a friend to all ages.Survived by sons, Dr. Leon E. Orme (Mary Ann), and Dr. Gilbert E. Orme (Carol Ann); daughter, Jeri (Monty) Stevens; brothers, Harold Holdaway, Dr. Reed A. Holdaway; sister, Alene Jones; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Ellis; daughters, Naomi and Mary Ellen; grandson, Dale Ellis Stevens; granddaughter, Terri Ann Orme; great-granddaughter, Emilee Brooke Orme.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at the West Jordan Mtn. View Stake Center, 2901 West 9000 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Thursday, at the church, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
