A special drug-prevention seminar will be presented to the Utah County Republican Women Monday, March 6, at noon in the third-floor ballroom of the Historic County Courthouse, 51. S. University Ave.

The women will hear from several Utah County drug experts. Commissioner David Gardner will introduce the seminar, focusing on the extent of drug abuse in Utah County, what is being done about it and how interest groups can help.Kipp Dana, County Substance Abuse Prevention Bureau director, will assist with the program and introduce Trudy Breryon and Vickie Jousie, who work directly with Pre-Natal Substance Abuse programs. All four speakers will relate actual cases in the county.
