Brigham Young University's annual fashion show, "Innovations," will be Friday, March 3, at 8 p.m. in the Wilkinson Center Ballroom. Admission is $5.

"It's gotten bigger every year," said Michelle Hyde, a BYU professor of clothing and textiles. "We expect about 1,600 people."The fashion show will feature lines of clothing from 25 fashion design students as well as a line by Heidi Lazersun, a former BYU student. Lazersun distributes a children's line to more than 70 retailers, Hyde said.

The show will also spotlight visiting guest designer Merrie Santoro from Jessica McClintock, who will present two lines of spring clothing.

"The students will also have art renderings of the garments they've designed," Hyde said. These are on display in the gallery across from the Candy Jar in the Wilkinson Center through Friday.
