The Utah Valley Symphony Guild is sponsoring an evening of dining and dancing at the annual Utah Valley Symphony Ball, "Easter Parade." The semiformal event will be at held in Provo's historic Utah County Courthouse on Thursday, April 13, from 7:30 to 11 p.m.

There will be dance music by the Dick Losee Band, and dinner will be served in the south ballroom on the third floor. A program will feature vocals by Barry and Debra Bounous and a performance by the Utah Valley State College Ballroom Dancers. There will also be door prizes, and photos will be available for $10.Tickets for the benefit are $25 per person and must be purchased in advance. The Utah Valley Symphony performs community concerts in the Provo Tabernacle and for area school children as part of the "Music in the Schools" program. Free concerts for the elderly, for civic and charitable organizations and a free outdoor summer concert for the public are donated by the symphony. Clyn D. Barrus has served as conductor and musical director for the symphony since 1990.
