The Utah Heritage Foundation will host its 24th annual Historic Homes Tour on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21.
More than 10 privately owned, historic homes in the Perry Avenue area of Federal Heights and the Oakwood neighborhood of East Millcreek (2610 E. between 3300 South and Evergreen Avenue) will be open to the public for guided tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The foundation will kick off the event with a Preview Gala on Friday, May 19.Raising public awareness of Utah's rich historic resources, as well as demonstrating the beauty and usefulness of our historic buildings, is the foundation's aim.
Admission is $15 for the general public and $12 for foundation members. Tickets will be available in advance at the foundation's office (Memorial House) or in the featured neighborhoods the day of the tour.
All proceeds will benefit the the Utah Heritage Foundation, Utah's only statewide, nonprofit, membership-based organization dedicated to identifying and preserving historic resources. For more information, call the foundation at 533-0858.
