Peter J. Rosa, 64, died Tuesday, February 28, 1995 at the home of his daughter in Hudson, Massachusetts.
Born in Syracuse and lived his life in that area. Retired former owner and operator of S & W Meats & Poultry on South Avenue. Communicant of Assumption Church. Veteran of U.S. Marines, Korean War; member of Knights of Columbus; The Usher Guild at Assumption Church and a member of the VFW Post in Baldwinsville.Survivors: His wife, Mary A. Strong Rosa, two sons, Richard Rosa, Utah; Peter Rosa, No. Syracuse; two daughters, Deborah Voorhies, Hudson, Massachusetts; Lynn Dudani, Brighton, Massachusetts; two sisters, Mary Scott and Ann Marie Stimson, both of Syracuse; one brother, Louis Rosa, No. Syracuse; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 a.m. in Assumption Church. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. Private calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Unity Acres, in care of Father McVay, Orwell, New York.
