Scotland's seven-piece Wolf-stone will pelt out its eclectic blend of traditional Scottish music and progressive rock at the Zephyr Club, 301 S. West Temple, Tuesday, March 7. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Electric fiddle player Duncan Chisholm, guitarist/vocalists Ivan Drever and Stuart Eaglesham, keyboardist Struan Eaglesham, drummer Mop Youngson, bassist Wayne MacKenzie and bagpiper/-flutist Stevie Saint, all reared from Scotland's Highlands, comprise the band, which got its start in the late 1980s.The band has released three albums "Unleashed" (1991), "The Chase" (1992) and last year's "Year of the Dog." It has also headlined the Avante Festival in Portugal and has played the Tonder Festival in Denmark, Colorado's Telluride Festival and California's Strawberry Festival.
