Selma Martha Albertina Janke Anderson, 91, passed away peacefully of natural causes March 1, 1995.
Born April 28, 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Fredrich Wilhelm and Anna Marie Bleck Janke. She married Charley (Chick) Lorenzo Anderson, May 16, 1928; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Charley preceded her in death on November 30, 1970.Selma will be remembered as a generous person with many accomplishments: Seminary teacher, PTA president; stake secretary for YWMIA, Pioneer Stake; Relief Society secretary, 26th Ward and Holladay 1st Ward. She will always be remembered as one who loved her family, friends, pets and Yellowstone.
She is survived by her children, C. Kim (Jenna) Anderson, Bountiful; Susie Dee (Dave) Miller, North Salt Lake; and F. Blake (Cathy) Anderson, Sandy; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 4, 1995 at 11 a.m. Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane. Friends may call at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Dr., Saturday from 10-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Funeral directors: Cottonwood Mortuary.
