The Wasatch Front Neighborhood Conference will be held Saturday, March 11, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Salt Lake Community College, South Campus, 1575 S. State.

A variety of speakers and workshops will be held throughout the day. Jim Diers, director of the department of Neighborhoods for Seattle, will give the keynote address at 8:30 a.m.Other key topics will include "Take a Big Bite Out of Crime," "Unthirsty Landscaping," "Neighborhood Parks" and "Youth Judging Youth."

Salt Lake City, Fruit Heights, Provo, Sandy, South Salt Lake and West Valley City helped prepare this conference along with the Salt Lake Association of Community Councils and the Salt Lake Valley Drug Abuse Prevention Coalition.

Registration fee is $5, which includes a lunch. Registration will be available from 8-8:30 a.m. on the day of the conference.
