"High Chair," a public service announcement produced by Bonneville Communications, 179 Social Hall Ave., for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, received a silver medal during the New York Festivals international television and cinema advertising competition.
The announcement was written and produced by BC as part of the continuing homefront series. It encourages parents to communicate with their children. Filmed in Toronto, Canada, the spot features a father talking to his baby as he feeds her and says, "It you want your children to talk to you when they're older, talk to them when they're younger."Involved with the spot were Bill Irish, director; Grant Baird, creative director/producer; Bob Hess, account executive; and Juan Gonzalez, media representative.
BC officials also announced they received a first place Modius Award for "Working Late," another spot for the LDS Church. In this one, a young executive learns from the head of his company that getting ahead in business shouldn't come at the expense of his family.
