The search for Hayden, Colo., Mayor Richard Roberts, who has been missing for more than two weeks, has been temporarily halted in southeastern Utah.

Grand County sheriff's investigator John McGann said Thursday that rain and snow had left roads in the search area impassable. He said the search - utilizing horses and dog teams - would resume when the roads, which are mostly dirt and clay, dry out enough to bear traffic.

Hayden Police Chief Jody Lenahan said the truck was found Monday about 200 yards off a Grand County road. The vehicle was in a thicket about a quarter mile from the Colorado state line.

The truck was retrieved on Tuesday, but no trace of Roberts has been found.
