Caroline Conzatti Powell Jenkins, 95, passed away March 1, 1995 from natural causes related to old age.

Born May 3, 1899 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, youngest daughter of John Battista and Anna Catherine Mertz Conzatti. She grew up in Rock Springs. She married Obidiah Powell on July 8, 1917. Obie died March 27, 1947. They had three children, Catherine, Donald, and Kenneth. Some years after Obie's death, she moved to Cokeville, Wyoming to work in her brother's drug store where she met Ruel Jenkins. They were married January 26, 1952. They lived in Cokeville and Star Valley, Wyoming for many years while Ruel was working as a ranch hand. In 1965 they moved to Salt Lake to be closer to doctors care. They lived at the senior citizens complex on 2nd East and 19th South until April 1994 when they moved to Sandy to live with their daughter and son-in-law, Fern and Del Heap.Survivors include her husband, Ruel Kimball Jenkins; stepdaughters, Fern (Del) Heap, Sandy and Eula (Orrin) Welker, Lorenzo, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Betty Powell, Lakewood, Colorado; step-daughter-in-law, Evelyn Jenkins, Burley, Idaho; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, eight brothers and sisters, three children, and stepson, Dudley.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 6, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. in the Sandy Crecsent 2nd Ward, 11100 South Prescott Drive (1630 East). Interment in the Rock Springs City Cemetery, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Funeral directors Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary.
