Lyle J. and Darlene Lowder of the Rexburg 6th Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake, are retired educators now serving in the Church's Family History's Ancestral/Medieval File Section in Salt Lake City.
They accepted a Church Service calling, Sister Lowder said, "Because the Lord has blessed us in so many ways we want to pay Him back. But we never get Him paid back because He keeps blessing us."She said the full-time Church Service calling "is the nicest thing we've ever done."
They chose Church Service because a potential health problem limited them from serving a full-time mission.
