Jehu, a king in Israel and the son of Nimshi, was apparently noted for his aggressive driving habits. As he approached the city Jezreel, a watchman reported to Joram while the chariot was still far off that "the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously." (2 Kings 9:20.)
