- THE UTAH WILDERNESS ASSOCIATION has announced the winners in its 10th annual poetry competition. Bruce Schmidt of Ojai, Calif., won the grand prize with his poem "Mud Bound." Runners-up were Gregory Karpain, Sandra McNew, Jill Carpenter and Michael Burwell.
